Baby you save me

'Every now and then I get a little lost
my strings all get tangled, my wires all get crossed'

You know you often don't appreciate, and I mean truly appreciate people the way they deserve. I mean when you are trying to maintain your spot in a job where you can easily be replaced, by somebody who might be better then you, you seemed to get lost in the deck.

You don't often realize when you reach the breaking points in your relationships, whether they are family, friends, or romantic ones. You tend to lose focus to what's important.

'Every now and then I'm right upon the edge
dangling my toes out over the ledge'

When you are fighting for your job and your next pay check figuratively, and quite literally, you don't tend to take a breath and count your blessings. I for one know that I always am high energy, trying to be the best; after all I was trained by the excellence of execution Bret Hart.

I often question how far I can push myself to improve. I can only do so much, but the expression; your roof is another man's floor is quite true in the wrestling business. There will always be somebody who is a better wrestler, you can outwrestle, outperform, just basically out you, and expose your flaws.

'I just thank God you're here'

But then I remember I have her. Natalya Neidhart, my Nattie, the love of my life.

She gets me in away not even my closest friends do. Being with her is easy, we grew up together, in fact we met because of her cousin Harry, who wrestles as my tag-partner David Hart Smith, and I guess it's just a zany case of art imitating life. I love her, as she loves me…unconditionally.

'Cause when I'm a bullet shot out of a gun
'Cause when I'm a firecracker coming undone
Or when I'm a fugitive ready to run, all wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me'

Nattie seems to be my opposite, but yet my complete equal. I am loud, outgoing and a totally jerk when I want to be while she on the other hand, is quiet, and some times introvert, I mean she can be loud, trust me I know, tick her off and you'll find out. She is outgoing in her own right, with Nattie; you have a best friend for life. Nattie is not a jerk, she may play one on TV, but the real Nattie, the one not on TV, she is the kindest person I know, she has her moments of anger, but she's reliable, and considering her lineage, she doesn't seem to be all cocky like most divas would be, if they were in her position.

Nattie brings out the best in me, she takes me in stride, and steers me in the right direction. She never puts her dreams ahead of mine, and she shows me respect. Her laughter melts my heart, because it is genuine most of the time.

When I go for adventures she is always by my side, riding shot gun. She reads me like an open book, that she can't put down. It amuses me, and scares me; I've never had somebody that was so in tune with me, and my emotions. It like when you have a bond and you can tell what the person is thinking with out even looking up at them.

'It's hard loving' a man that's got a gypsy soul
I don't know how you do it, I'm not sure how you know'

You know with her beauty and wit, she could have any guy. But she chose me, and I'm in the business that her father and her uncles helped define. You'd think she'd want to get away from that, but no, she seemed to embrace it.

For as long as I have known Nattie, she has always seems to be ready to go along for the ride. She is always ready to embrace the future.

'The perfect thing to say to save me from myself
you're the angel that believes in me like nobody else
And I thank God you do'

Nattie is simply the best thing that has ever happened to me. She has a tendency to help me keep my head when I am wrestling, if I make a mistake, I tend to blow up, but she is always there going. 'Come on Tyson, get up' and she is always kicking my butt into gear.

When you have the physical and emotional support, like I do with Nattie, it easy to lose yourself in it. I know someday she is going to be my wife.

'Cause when I'm a bullet shot out of a gun
When I'm a firecracker coming undone
When I'm a fugitive ready to run, all wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me
'

Nattie understands my wild side, she knows that I am a complex person, and she totally embraces it. When I am reckless, she is there being my voice of reason, and also being reckless to.

She never passes judgments down on me or anybody. She just goes along with the flow. Just really at ease with her self and everybody, even when she is in character as Natalya she is just herself, just a different part of her personality has been magnified.

'I know I don't tell you nearly enough
that I couldn't live one day without your love'

I love her, she may not know the full extent, but she is the reason I got into wrestling. The way she was always at her grandparent's house, I was just the family friend, the jerk that hung out with her cousin.

But when she got older, it was just easier to become friends and we did. And our friendship, blossomed into a relationship, and I don't think we have really ever gone back.

'When I'm a ship tossed around on the waves
Up on a high wire that's ready to break
When I've had just about all I can take
Baby you, baby you save me

When I'm a bullet shot out of a gun
When I'm a firecracker coming undone
When I'm a fugitive ready to run, all wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me'

No one has ever gotten me the way Nattie does, I love her, and I cherish the relationship we have. I plan to ask her to marry me; I know she'll say yes, I highly doubt my Nattie would reject me.

She is already my everything, she is my saving grace. To put it simple, she saves me.
